The Quotable Raytard

Postby Jason Brunet » Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:57 am

This thread is a place where you can deposit especially stupid and ironic quotes from commenters at Atheist Central. I've come across stuff in recent days that really deserves recognition. If you find stuff that you think is just mind boggingly idiotic, please post them here, with or without commentary. Please give the user's name and link to the thread.

If it's active enough, WEM will make it a sticky!

I'll start:

Lily of The Valley wrote:I want to gather all the mothers on this blog and take a vote.

I say we evolve an extra set of arms and eyes in the back of our head. Which means we'll have to give up a little hair in back. On top of that, I vote for painless childbirth! What do you say ladies? Who would like to give birth (painlessly) to the first girl with nubs for the second set of arms? And eye sockets in the back of her head with a bald spot. No eyes yet...that will be up to her first baby girl. If we think really hard while we're pregnant, I bet we can do it! Evolution is chocked full of surprises! I think I can...I think I can...I think I can...

I'll be accused of not understanding evolution.... But, oh, how I do!

Circular Sye is a virtual gold-mine of quotes, but he's spending his time over at Debunking Atheists (rather than Ray's). Should this thread be Raytard-only? Or is it gonna be SMRT's version of FSTDT?
"Polymath" means "having learned much"; the correct word for "having failed to learn much" is simply "Ray".

Well, Sye is also a Raytard.

I propose that we keep this confined to Raytards, unless we have something really precious, in which case we rationalize breaking the rules.

Is there a way that we could just have all of Vera's and MLTT's comments pop up here? Every comment they leave literally makes my jaw drop.

And I am so fucking tired of the whole "God is outside space and time, but can act within space and time, but is not subject to space and time, because he created space and time blah blah blah...

How fucking convenient.

Yes I could, but what would be the point? They either dismiss it out of hand or ignore the comment completely.

Occams' razor allows us to continue to live our sinful lives, that we apparently like so much. Can I offer you a nice slice of aborted fetus while I change into my orgy clothes.
