Ahhh yes, from the mouths of Luther to St. Starbuck... Steven J might even join in on the 'quote boat', 'Let Fundies Speak for Themselves'.
btw/ Thanks Kaitlyn, you 'Mr. Monkey' you.

Here you are, BathTub.

ITs All About Jesus!!! wrote:Friend,

As usual ( the atheist ) has not done his home work about 'Project Rainbow', which was known by its public name of:

"Philadelphia Experiment"

Recently it was declassified, and the details of its purpose was revealed. It was conducted during the war - in the attempt to cloak a warship with invisibility.

This would give our side a great advantage over the enemy. The enemy would be destroyed before they knew what hit them!

[...]Yes, the intelligence community circulated, and continues to circulate "lies" to hide the tragedy of the USS Elridge and her crew.

Here's another one:
ITs All About Jesus!!! wrote:@ Iago, you said "Seems like you have a problem there. Was he [Charles Darwin] a hash smoker or an outcast ? becuase from what you are indicating he can't be both."

He was an outcast from English society, drug user, and estranged.

Maybe in your private world he could not be both, but here in the 'real world' he was an outcast and a drug user.

Smoke that in your pipe Iago! :)

ITs All About Jesus!!! wrote:Hash Smoking - Charles Darwin and his drug habit. He gave up becoming a parson for a 'doobie'.

[...]Wilkepedia excerpt:

“Darwin spent most of this time exploring on land; three years and three months on land, 18 months at sea”

“He ably collected and made detailed observations of *plants and animals”

Please note he experimented with marijuana in south america.

This is when Charles got hooked
on dope. He developed a habit of smoking on the hash pipe with the new captain onboard HMS Beagle.

Cheech and Chong in the 1800s!
Pass the 'doobie' Chuck?

I found this one on these boards, but I can't track down the actual post...

Its ALL about JESUS !!! wrote:@ Jonathan, IRT: Ship's log

I appreciate your efforts in trying to find the Ship's log for HMS Beagle during Darwin's expedition.

Yes, the 2nd voyage did occur with a new captain. The previous captain committed suicide.

You are not aware of this, but all ship's logs in the Royal Navy and the American Navy ( and other countries ) are kept in safe keeping. Yes, OFFICIAL logs.

Yes some have been lost at sea and from neglect, but I know for a fact that it was in the museum years ago.

I was stationed in europe from 1983to 1985. Back then there was no internet, but I listened to the BBC on short wave in Portugal. I also made a trip to London, North Holt, and Laken Heath.

Whether Dawkins or one of his 'cronies' have confiscated it, I do not know. I do know it was in the public eye in UK.

It is true that decommissioned ships and their logs are returned to scrap, but this particular ship is a part of history.

Just think, a man makes the claim that we are descendants of rocks.

Quite a claim! Before DNA was discovered, or modern science.

Therefore, I find it highly unlikely that the log was burned, or tossed on the rubbish heap.
Property of the british government.

What you have is a 'cover up' my friend. The ship's log and no reference to it in the British Museum or UK is for 'good reason'.

The hiearchy of the atheist hives do not want you know the truth. Otherwise, the hives would desolve.

Ask Richard Dawkins what happened to that ship's logbook. You have
right to know! You are gambling your immortal soul on atheism.

It will throw serious doubt on the credibility of Charles Darwin and his standing in English history if that log was revealed.

As far as the 'Passing the hash pipe' ritual goes, it is well known among sailors of the world.

The indian tribes introduced it to sailors. I previously posted that.

The ritual continues aboard ship to this day. Just like 'shell backing' and the 'blue nose' ritual. Unless you are a part of it, you will not know.

Its not your fault that you and the other atheists are 'land lubbers'. Some men have what it takes and others do not.

That comes from a 23 year US Navy man who has seen plenty of 'sea time' and wonders of GOD at sea.

Have you ever been thru a 'White Squall' and prayed that GOD will spare you from the tempest? I have.

GOD BLESS ya Jonathan!

Praying for you and the other atheists to see the beautiful creation of our GOD.

The rituals exist, just browse thru your neighborhood library.
Be careful with your accusations though, you may find yourself in a bad place.

Namely ... Hell.

In His Love,
Terry Burton

Time is running out, we are living in the latter days, please listen to HELLS BEST KEPT SECRET on my website or blogs! While you can!!!

Ooh.. which one is that?

Sounds like a tale of backstabbing, whatever it is.

I think he's referring to the time dale outed ray as a YEC, and it mysteriously vanished.
With a name like Smucker's, it has to be god.

This is the one Ray deleted behind Dale's back, he didn't even know it was gone.

Dale Jackson said...

"So Dale, any idea why Ray was mocking the discovery of a fellow Christian (Mary Schweitzer)?

Surely he doesn't have a requirement to argue the Young Earth position? He already claimed that he doesn't know and doesn't care how old the Earth is.

You kind of 'disappeared' off the Circular Reasoning' thread...shall we take it up there? "

Ray doesn't hide the fact that he's no scientist or apologist. He's strictly an evangelist and that is what he is is. And a good one at that, regardless of what you say about him.

Regarding nailing him down on exact age of the earth - I'm like him in that way - I don't know precisely how old the earth - though I tend to say 8-10,000-ish. And Ray is like that too. Others like Ken Ham may be more confident at more of an exact figure and that's fine.

Time speaking - I mean 10,000 years old isn't young. I mean that's a lot of years compared to our feeble 80 years (and that's pushing it).

Compared to evolution's 65 million - yeah I see why we are labled "Young Earthers".

I'll tell you this. Ray believes what Jesus said. And Jesus already stated that what Moses had said and written is true. That God created in 6 days and the 7th was rest - a purposeful setting of example for humanity to work 6 and rest one.

If that means young earth? Then Ray believes that.

Whether that's 6,000, 8,000-10,000 or 12,000 - Ray has already made plainly clear - he doesn't know.

Ray is a young earther by definition and is in line with Ken Ham and Hovind on this issue.

Iago the parrot is only trying to prove that Ray is somehow an old earther, which is rather a dumb accusation - it's merely an attempt by iago to place blame when there is none.

Regarding, Mary Schweitzer.

I have no absolute proof that she is a Christian, other than her merely saying so - which is not really proof at all.

I don't think she's lying, but I don't know her.

I appreciate those that sent the quote of her saying she was, however, that's no reason to absolutely believe she is.

So yes I'm being a skeptic, got a problem with that?

I have no idea of her personal religious life, and I'm sure you don't either.

You're quick to declare people "Christian" merely based on their saying so.

that being said.

The argument that "Ray's mocking another Christian" is rather a weak one at that.

Really it's a red herring - subject matter that really has nothing to do with the initial subject at hand - that of the subject of soft tissue found in T Rex.

And, lastly, I didn't "disappear.

You know as well as I, how terribly difficult it is to maintain a long string of debate on this kind of blog - blogger comments were never meant to house such long lasting debates.

Every time Ray goes to another subject post, everyone pretty much moves. And so does the dialogue.

It's very disjointed and hard to follow.

And on final note, I do have other things to do.

I have a family and friends and I have lots of work.

I don't sit around every second waiting with "BATED" breath to reply (got that spelling corrected there). Right now, I've got a render cooking and so my computer's tied up and I'm writing this.

Every once and a while, as every atheist here knows, I'll catch a glimpse over at wearesmrt and post a comment here on this blog, and just jump in when I feel like it. That's just me.

Haha, Dale's post is great, but what makes it even greater is that Ray had to go and delete it. I was not aware of this little bit of drama.

"Iago the parrot is only trying to prove that Ray is somehow an old earther..."

Oh, wow. How can someone miss the point so badly?

Being straight is a conscious choice we make every day.

Ray Comfort wrote:
Froggie wrote:"Since you believe gay is a choice, please describe the time in your life when you chose to be heterosexual.”

Every day each of us have the choice whether or not to be heterosexual or homosexual, whether or not to be an adulterer, a fornicator, a pedophile, a bank robber, a rapist or a murderer. These are moral choices we make daily.
