Fundamentalist murderers get away with murder.

Anything goes in here, rants, raves and pictures (as long as it's not explicitly pornographic or illegal by US Laws). This is our own toned down version of /b/. Warning this forum may be NSFW!

Oh, that's entirely possible. But seven children would be difficult to find places for. Hell, it's just a mess all around, isn't it. I'm glad I wasn't the judge, I'd never be able to sleep for wondering whether I'd done the right thing, or even the best thing.
Of course truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to make sense. (Mark Twain)
God Hates Figs. (Mark 11:12-14)
It's getting worse. (Weemaryanne)

It sucks that there are questions for which there are no clear cut answers. I've been there, and I'm sure you have been too.

Wee and Froggie make an important point here, one that even many atheists are loathe to admit: no one wants to be unsure about whether their decisions are the right ones, especially decisions where lives are at stake. One of the great attractions of religion is that it promises an "objective" morality, such that there is a God-approved answer to any such moral dilemma. Trouble is, this kind of morality simply doesn't exist, in or out of religion: sometimes there are simply hard choices to make, and there simply is no logically or theologically "correct" decision. That's life.
You were born. And so you're free. So happy birthday.
