Indeed. The moon landing deniers are a depressing example of how detailed and absurd conspiracy theories can get. Where they draw the line becomes bizarre- one guy said yes, the launch was real, but the Apollo astronauts just orbited Earth for eight days (and no one noticed the new satellite...) and then came back- and Nasa faked all the pics. Seems to me, though, that if Nasa could obviously get men into space, and had the technological means to fake the pics, that it still would have been
easier to just land men on the Moon. This shows how powerfully people can deceive themselves, if they hold onto ideas that are not grounded in reality.
