A local guy I met recently is a professional photographer and entrepreneur , a very interesting fellow indeed. long/ short, he is doing some 3D stuff, which some of you, especially Intellecualninja, have shown an interest in. I don't have a good understanding of the process yet, but am trying to learn more. He turned me on to his site:

His webpage is down, but it sounds like he's using stereoscopic photography which is just taking two pictures... one for the left eye, one for the right.

I don't have the equipment to view 3D content.

I really like HDR images and 360 degree videos though.

yeah stereoscopic is how my phone takes 3d pic.
