Once upon a time, Richard Gunther made this:


Very standard creationist fluff. Nothing terribly noteworthy, although it did generate a few laughs when Trish posted it on her blog. A few of you got her to kinda-sorta rescind a bit by slappy on a half-hearted tag to the blog post, but that's about it for this Gunther scrawling.

He has now seen it to defend his comic years later because I guess "satire" and "parody" showed up on his Word-a-Day Calendar 4 Kidz and was really eager to use them. He also gets science wrong, as expected.

I admire your dedication, q-man, and I think you’re right- Gunther is doing exactly what Ray did after his banana fiasco: desperately trying to pretend that he didn’t really believe it, that it was intended to be funny. I somehow don’t believe Ray, and I somehow don’t believe Gunther either: they really were that stupid. Unfortunately, they are not much smarter now.
