Well, I assume that there was a rate of conception before the fall because they were told to go forth and multiply, so there must have been a rate of conception. No matter how low this rate was, without death the world would have filled up completely at some point in the future, no?

Could be. But as I said, the words fruitful, multiply and fill can have another meaning that also coincides with the picture of Adam as a type of Christ and may not be meaning offspring here. I might be wrong but would have to do a word study to find out. That's not something I have the time for right now... maybe later this week.

Oh that makes much more sense! It raised an eyebrow because I've heard people say that the greek letter pi is actually pronounced phi (fee; pi is pronounced like 'pee')... which isn't true at all, they are different letters.

I've heard phi prnounced as fie and fee. Don't know which is more correct. I had used fie in the past.

I'm sure it's debatable. It's definitely not the same as pi though :)

I'm working on it, it's a problem with our DB for the board and since any changes I make are to the live version of the site (we don't have a development version) I am leary of proceeding too quickly on things that might make everything fuck up Comfort.

The Image is a lie. The cake is being questioned.

The answer to your question: God knew about the fall before it happened. Ergo, he knew that his "breed like lagomorphs" command wouldn't become a problem in the long run, and just wanted to give Adam and Eve something to do to keep them occupied in the meantime...
