Was Breitbart assassinated?

Deserve a mention, but not quite ol' favourites.

Was Breitbart assassinated?

Postby MaxFF » Sat Mar 03, 2012 12:51 am

Since its been mentioned, just about everywhere I look, that Andrew Breitbart has died. Of course it didn't take long for Obama to get blamed for this.

Yep, similar reaction over at CARM...
"Polymath" means "having learned much"; the correct word for "having failed to learn much" is simply "Ray".

People defending Breitbart's tactics and rhetoric are just one rung up the ladder from the white supremacist group we were recently discussing.

Everything in that WND article is old news, and it's hilarious to think that someone would be assassinated over it. Talk radio and even the McCain campaign tried to bring up Ayers and shit while Obama actually focused on the economy that had just buckled a few weeks ago. Guess which was more appealing to the voters?

Nobody cared then, and nobody cares now. But feel free to repeat the exact same mistake you made last election.

What I find interesting is that it might be the first WND article that I've read that contains numerous comments by people mocking the WND kooks. Is this a new thing with other articles on the site, or just for this particular article?

In my previous experiences with WND, all the comments were pro-kook.

In my experience just about every WND article has at least a few people criticizing it. And there's so many comments I can't really get a sense of whether that one has significantly more people criticizing it. It is certainly not a new thing, but it might be more common recently.

Must have been a recent thing, because it's been a couple of (or a few) years since I've read a WND article. Back when I was following that site (for the lulz, of course), all of the comments (and I used to read them) were pro-kook.

I think that, back then, the skeptical/atheist/etc online community wasn't really focused on WND. Mocking them, yes, but not on the site itself. Possibly they were more moderated (read: censor-happy) back then.

Yeah, I was banned at RR because I could not help replying to this insanity. I had to get a new one there; Reach the Lost. Too late it occurred to me to make it Reach Around the Lost and see if it would go through.

Their belief that Breitbart was assassinated and their belief in Jesus has the same root in my opinion.
