Pointy skates, slippery ice, long sticks, high speeds- what could possibly go wrong?

Sum bitch. Penguins down 3-1. Gotta win three in a row to go on (seen game series.)
However, they beat the Flyers TEN to Fucking Three, on Wednesday night, the most bizarre score in playoff history.

So...buck up, fans.......

As sports fans the world over are probably aware, the 2012 summer Olympics will be underway in London, England 27 July through 12 August this summer.

I can only imagine how exciting it is for those athletes from all over the world to head out to see if they are the best in the world.
The Olympics have changed quite a bit since I was a kid, with the drugs, doping, and transsexual issues often in the news.
And I always hoped that the games would foster world peace in some small way, but it seems that the divisive factors are often magnified on the fringes of the main events.
It is also a distinct possibility that the ne'er-do-well terrorists and wannabe terrorists will pull of some successful nefarious plot. It just makes me ill that people cannot just once every four years set aside their differences and allow these hallowed competitions to proceed without incident. I have a sinking feeling after reading of the extravagant counter terrorist measures costing millions have been put into place, including missiles mounted atop tall buildings, that trouble is brewing.

Having said that, I am also wondering how in the fuck, with all the talented graphic artists the world over, how in the hell did they ever end up with a logo like this???? And the color??? What the actual fuck??

In the run up to the Olympic Games in London some athletes are emerging as noteworthy in their abilities and personalities. One such athlete that 'caught my eye' is Michelle Jenneke, a hurdler from Australia. Any of you single folks that are quick afoot ought to try to catch this gal, though I doubt if you can. Here's a video that highlights her abilities.
